Hi Mark
As I hardly know one end of a guitar from the other, I thought I would ask what your favourite curry is….as I do enjoy a ruby myself?
I have seen the band twice on the current tour - at Derby and Holmfirth - and thought both gigs were ace. What tracks are on the Wishlist CD - as this was only available half way through the tour?
Are consecutive tours gruelling and which beer helps you to cope?
Cheers,
Lyndon (top fan).
Thanks Mark - great answers. I must grab a CD when it’s on general release, very good tracks. Wow, chicken vindaloo - a real man! I can only manage a madras. Yes, you can’t go wrong with Marston’s beers - Pedigree is still a nice pint. Wishing you all the best for the USA tour - ‘no easy road’ out there between venues. Hope to see the band and catch up with you on next UK tour in autumn 2025….
Hi Lyndon, Thanks for the very first question! My go to curry is usually a chicken vindaloo, usually requested extra hot, or if not feeling like so much heat something like keema with potato and peas or chicken with cauliflower.. usually acompanied with a few chapatis of a tandoori roti.
Yes, consecutive tours can be gruelling, especially if one of the tours is in the US as the distances we travel by road are huge, so very nlong days - but always fun! Beer is mostly Guinness at the moment but i love a good pint of pale ale - This tours mission has been to track down my all time favourite, Marstons 61 Deep, we only finally managed to find this a couple of days ago in Cardiff! (last 2 bottles)
The Wishhlist CD was late arriving and tracks are: Blind eye
Deep Blues
We stand as one
In crisis
You see red
The way of the world
F.U.B.B
Sorrel
Warrior
The king will come
Throw down the sword
Lady jay
Heavy weather Cheers
